New Year, New Beginnings

The year is coming to an end and it's the perfect time to reminisce on what God has done throughout my life in 2018. I've traveled, made new friends, started college in my senior year of high school, and grown in many different areas of my life. I was able to go on a missions trip to Vizag, India this past summer and it opened my eyes to the many different cultures the world has to offer. I finished my last Volleyball and Basketball season and won all-tournament player at my last volleyball tournament. I am so grateful for all of the opportunities the Lord opened up for me so this post is dedicated to all God has blessed me with this year.

I turned 17

I went to India

I went to my first prom

I finished my Senior year of volleyball

(yes we decided to do fake prego pics for our Varsity team pictures.)

I gained some new friends

And had to say goodbye to one

I completed my first semester at a Community College (as a high school senior)

The biggest blessing in my life was my new friendship with the greatest guy. He honestly came out of nowhere and I couldn't imagine my life without him. If I wrote a post about him it would be super long so I'll just say a few things. He's been a great example to me of how to live as a Christian and Christ is clearly a prominent aspect of his life. He always makes me laugh and there is never a dull moment with him. He's one of my best friends, I'm so grateful for him, and I praise God everyday for placing him in my life.

All in all it was a fruitful year of growing in the Lord through new experiences and relationships and I hope that 2019 will stretch me and continue to bring me closer to him. This year I'm looking forward to graduating from high school, turning 18, going to Europe for the first time, and possibly going on an international missions trip this summer (hopefully to India for the second time!).

Since I am using a new platform I may be making some changes as well as uploading some older posts from my past blog on wordpress.com.

I hope you enjoy my content and stay tuned for more on my most recent trips to India and Tennessee!
